Campsite Merko lacarra benefits from a privileged location on the seaside. It is one of the campsites closest to the water of the Basque country.
From the campsite you have a bird’s eye view of Mayarco beach. You can even hear the waves breaking from the campsite. With family, as a couple, with friends you can enjoy the three beaches of Acotz for all the leisure activities related to water and sand.
You can go surf with the board under your arm. Nationally renowned waves are within walking distance. Surfers even park next to the campsite to go surfing. You will have the choice between left, right for beginners or more experienced surfers wishing to surf right or left.
It’s the same for families who want to enjoy the great beaches in complete peace and quiet. The fine sand and large natural areas are at 50 metres from the campsite. No need to take the car, you are there at 1 minutes on foot. Just take the parasol, the beach games for the children, or just the towels and go enjoy relaxing by the sea.
The Atlantic seaside also rhymes with sunset. Indeed, you can see the best sunsets from the campsite or from the cliffs 30 metres from the campsite.
